HTC has released a small update for its Android tablet – Flyer. Don’t expect the latest Honeycomb features, only under the hood changes that will “improve system performance.” Once installed, the 25MB update will bring Flyer’s software version to 2.00.405.3. However, users aren’t seeing any notable changes, or so we heard.
So what should you do if you own the HTC Flyer? Update, of course. It’s a good practice to keep your firmware up to date, even when there are no visible changes like in this situation. Again we advise you to backup all your data before clicking on any “Update” buttons just in case something goes wrong. Moreover, make sure your Flyer is fully charged before taking the next step.
Once you’re done with the backup, proceed to this page, follow instructions provided on the site and well, you’ll know what to do next, right? 😉
