Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.3.4 firmware leaked

Although Samsung has just recently released Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread firmware for its Galaxy S (I9000), the company is already working on the next update. Samfirmware snooped the upcoming firmware build that will make the device on par with the Nexus S. The firmware number XXJVP was released on June 3rd and is available for download from Samfirmware’s website, where you’ll also find all the instructions needed to proceed with the update.

We must warn you that taking this route could void your warranty or (worst case scenario) brick your phone. Please don’t hold us responsible.

However, if you do want to update badly, make sure to backup all your data first. It’s a good practice to have a fresh copy of your contacts and all other PIM data stored on a computer or in the cloud. Good luck! 😉
