Samsung installed 20 newly designed charging stations in all of the terminals at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). The new charging stations allow travelers to charge their mobile phones, laptops and other devices for free. Each station rocks 6 electrical outlets compatible for U.S. voltage (120 volts), two USB charging outlets, four micro USB mobile phone charging plugs, as well as a touchscreen display that provides travelers with access to news, weather, flight information, along with information about Samsung’s products.
Aside from these new stations, there are also more than 40 charging stations at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). In total, Samsung has installed more than 421 charging stations in 12 of the busiest airports in the U.S. that are accessible to more than 400 million passengers. Moreover, the Korean company also has 83 charging stations at 20 of the nation’s largest college campuses, along with six charging stations at The Las Vegas Convention Center and five charging stations at The Mall of America in Minneapolis…
