Samsung made a deal with Rovio to include a special Golden Egg level in Angry Birds Seasons for Samsung Galaxy S II owners. The new level is available as part of the latest Summer Pignic update and can be accessed from the third level, though it’s not that easy to figure out how. That said, we have a short video, demoing how to get to this level which (naturally) happens somewhere far in the galaxy where the game physics have been tweaked a bit.
Gotta give it to Samsung, Rovio or whoever envisioned this kind of promotion. This is not to say Samsung wouldn’t sell a ton of Galaxy S II units even without this clever scheme — quite the contrary, Sammy’s baby is topping the charts throughout the world. And we’re everything but surprised considering the Galaxy S II’s specs, which include that gorgeous 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera, HSPA (21Mbps HSDPA) and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and so on.
