There’s a neat little infographic coming from the Cloudtalk folk which shows what many of us have known for a while: smartphone users are not using their phones to actually make phone calls that often.
According to the data that the infographic was based on, the top five smartphone activities are texting/messaging, e-mailing, social network, then making and receiving calls and browsing the web. I definitely fall into that camp, although I’d have to put making phone calls even below browsing the web on the go. Phone calls are definitely necessary sometimes but I find it inefficient, not archivable and generally a bother.
What do you think of this infographic? Do you still use your smartphone to make calls primarily?
