Official Tour de France 2011 mobile game hits Android, BlackBerry devices

The official Tour de France mobile game is no longer something reserved for the iPhone and iPod Touch users – Android and BlackBerry smartphone owners can now join the party, too. The game is true to the original event, allowing you to assemble and manage a team of real cyclists competing in the Tour, including the current yellow jersey holder Thomas Voeckler and/or green jersey holder Mark Cavendish. That team should be comprised of riders with different styles — rouleur, baroudeur, sprinter and climber — to be able to win most if not all rounds. Moreover, you can pick between various strategies and tactics like drafting, relaying, and sprinting to break down your opponents.

All of the 21 stages of the Tour de France are included, with true-to-life locations, names, and stage features — from the grueling climbs of Mont Ventoux and Col du Galibier to the flat laps of the Champs-Élysées — ensuring tons of on-the-go entertainment.
