Apple is leading the mobile application market with its AppStore still having more apps than any other service, Android Market included. And while that picture may change in the coming months, iOS app and game developers keep making more money than their Android counterparts, presuming we can separate iOS and Android developers in two distinct camps, and we can’t. What about mobile advertising? What are the differences between the two platforms there?

Apple still makes more money for publishers, delivering the highest eCMP (cost per thousand impressions) and CTR (click-through) rates. However, when it comes to the global fill rate, Android has an advantage…
