Apple has finally managed to balance supply and demand for the iPad 2 and now the shipping time for the popular tablet is 24 hours. In other words – if you order the iPad 2 today, it will be shipping from the factory within one day. It may take a few days longer to actually arrive at your doorstep, but that’s not a biggie.

Ever since launching the iPad 2 on March 11, 2011 – Apple had hard time meeting the overwhelming demand. Initially, users had to wait for 4-5 weeks and then in April that decreased to the 1-2 week level. Now the equilibrium has been reached or perhaps not that many people want the iPad 2 now. I guess those who crave for one, grabbed it in the first few months and now we expect the slow season until Christmas when I would assume things will get “back to normal.”

Anyway, if you want the iPad 2 and you still haven’t grabbed one – now may be the time to “push the button.” Or wait for September when other OEMs will launch their stuff, too. It’s your call…
