Motorola officially announced the Domino+ smartphone aka XT531. The mid-range device will be sold in Europe as Motorola FIRE XT and in Latin America as Motorola SPICE XT. Moreover, it will also be available in Hong Kong and Taiwan where users will be able to access Moto’s SHOP4APPS service in addition to Android Market.
Specs, the XT531 comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing camera for video calls, 800MHz processor, FM radio, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, memory card slot, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. Furthermore, it ships with a powerful 1540mAh battery, which promises to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and 28 days in standby in 3G mode! Finally, in select parts of the Asia, Moto’s baby will be available with dual-SIM capability, allowing users to rely on two rather than one mobile operator for their communication needs.
Motorola XT531 will start selling in China later this month, with select countries in Europe and Latin America to get it starting this fall.
