We’ve been telling you about the HTC Omega, the Taiwanese company’s upcoming Windows Phone 7 device that will most likely be unveiled at HTC’s September event. If you recall, we’re talking about a smartphone with a 3.8-inch S-LCD WVGA touchscreen, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 SoC, 8-megapixel camera with flash on the back, and 512MB of RAM.

Now we’re glad to show you the first press photo we got, compliments to PocketNow and its ninjas. As you can see, there’s a front-facing camera on this baby and something tells us the Omega will support Skype video calls. Heck even if that doesn’t happen at launch and considering Microsoft now owns the VoIP company, we’re sure we won’t have to wait for too long to see the Redmond giant promoting out-of-box Skype experience as one of the key selling points of its mobile platform. We’ll keep following all the news and let you know as soon as we hear something interesting. Stay tuned, k?
