Thanks to the savvy ninjas at PocketNow, we have the first real images of two upcoming Verizon smartphones – Pantech Breakout and Samsung Illusion. The first of the two has already been leaked before – it comes with LTE support, 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing camera (for video calls), 512MB of RAM, memory card slot and the ability to create a mobile hotspot for up to 10 devices. In other words, it’s like the ThunderBolt or Droid Charge with a smaller screen.
As for the Samsung Illusion, we’ve no idea what it will pack under the hood. Judging by the phone’s model number (SCH-i110), it’s most likely a mid-range device with a single-core 800MHz processor (or perhaps 1GHz), HVGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 3 or 5-megapixel camera.
Pantech’s baby should launch any day now, while the Illusion will be unveiled closer to the end of the month…
