Remember the not-so-loved Pierre Cardin’s 7-inch tablet? When we talked about it, it was shipping with Android 2.2 Froyo on board. No more – the PC-7006 got “G” at the end (so it’s PC-7006G now), which stands for… (guess)… Gingerbread. What’s more, the price went down, from 274.99 GBP (about $438) to 224.99 GBP (about $358).
Sadly the specs are unchanged and they still include the 800×480 pixels display. If it only had a 1024×600 pixels screen, I would recommend Pierre Cardin’s baby to all fashionistas out there. This way I can’t justify spending more than 100 pounds on a tablet that has the screen resolution of a smartphone. Perhaps fashion savvy users don’t actually care about this, but I doubt that’s the case.
Anyway, aside from the sucky display, the Pierre Cardin PC-7006G also rocks a 1GHz processor, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, HDMI out and a microSD memory card slot.
