Gameloft’s next installment in the Gangstar was announced last week, but aside from the concept art and the hint of the game being set in Rio, we knew absolutely diddly squat about the game. That changes today as Gameloft has released the debute trailer for Gangstar Rio: City of Saints.
Gangstar Rio: City of Saints’ debut trailer features a lot of in-game visuals that will give you an idea of how good the game will look when it’s released later this Fall. The next Gangstar will apparently follow the journey of a man who once has everything, to then lose it all after he’s injured from a car bomb. After he recovers from his injuries, he seeks revenge on those who blew him up. Wouldn’t you?
The game looks like it’ll be a nice improvement over the previous Gangstar games, especially given Gameloft has finally decided to get rid of the marionette look of their characters bobbing about while they speak by allowing their mouths to move. The trailer also shows the character customization as you can fully customize the clothing your character wears while he’s running around revenging people.
