The HTC Rhyme, formerly known as the HTC Bliss, has been spotted and leaked by German site BestBoyZ. The official-looking press-style photos show that HTC still has it when it comes to designing a smartphone with style, even if it is still unmistakably very HTC-esque. Word is that this device might also be unveiled during HTC’s press event in New York City next week, which we’ll be covering live.

The device looks pretty sexy in white, though it might be offered in a few other colors to appeal to a broader crowd. The HTC Rhyme is rumored to have a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, and runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. And if it were like most other Android smartphones out there right now, it’d be safe to guess that its processor is in the 1-1.5GHz range, dual-core, of course, and that its rear-facing camera is of the 5MP or 8MP variety.

We’re pretty intrigued with what we’ve seen so far, so hopefully the curiosity doesn’t have to last much longer. Stay tuned and we’ll be bringing all the goods live on September 20.
