Not sure what was “wrong” with O2’s version of the HTC Sensation when the carrier decided to delay the Android 2.3.4 update thus far. I guess they wanted to test it out thoroughly prior to releasing the new software to the general public…
Anyway, the good Sensational news is that the update is now ready, waiting for you to grab it. Before doing so, make sure your critical data is safely backed up on a computer and that your phone battery is fully charged. Then tap “Settings” -> “About phone” and check for software updates. From here you should be able to find your way around. Once the software is downloaded, the process will start, eventually restarting the Android smartphone to finish it off. It’s actually pretty simple, as you probably know. 😉
