Good news for those of you living and/or working in the UK, who at the same time want HTC’s music-centric Android smartphone – Rhyme. O2 has scored the exclusive launch rights for the device and will start selling it on October 17th. Needless to say that means you can pre-order your unit today and wait for couple of more weeks to definitely be the first one to get it. In case you wonder, we’ve no idea which color options O2 will have on launch. Similarly we don’t know whether all Rhyme accessories will be available at that point. We do hope that will be the case, though.
As a reminder, the HTC Rhyme rocks a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, runs Android 2.3, and the usual stuff like Wi-Fi, GPS and HSPA connectivity.
In the U.S, Verizon Wireless will be the first to offer the phone with CDMA-based (rather than GSM-based) 3G radio (i.e. EV-DO)…
