T-Mobile just made the HTC Amaze 4G official today and we had to go to a swanky party to get some hands-on time with this device. Does the Android handset live up to its name?

Some of you may think that this is basically a myTouch 4G Slide without the slide-out keyboard and I wouldn’t say you’re wrong but I also wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing. As you can tell from our review, we really like the photo-friendly camera and removing the physical keyboard enabled HTC to make a much slimmer and sleeker device.

The Amaze 4G packs a dual-core Snapdragon S3 1.5 dual-core processor processor, WiFi, HSPA+42 capabilities (up to 42 Mbps download speeds), a good-size 4.3-inch screen, 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS and all the other goodies you’d expect from a smartphone of this class. Like the myTouch 4G Slide, this will also be an excellent camera phone, as HTC has included a few additional modes.

You can check out our gallery below and watch some video (coming ASAP) of the HTC Amaze 4G in action but please excuse some of the poor lighting and loud music. We do what we can for you, friends.
