HTC Radar 4G, which we see as a mass market Windows Phone 7.5 Mango device, is at the FCC where the government-paid engineers are testing its radiation levels, making sure it’s safe to be used by the general public. Once that process is completed, HTC’s baby will be heading to T-Mobile USA, which we think will sell it for about $100 on a two-year contract.
Specs wise, the Radar 4G comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing camera (for video calls), HSPA+ (4G) and Wi-Fi connectivity and 8GB of built-in storage. As I said, it’s a solid mid-range by today’s standards (hence mass-market appeal), leaving the premium high-end space for the HTC Titan and its huge 4.7-inch screen…
