The LG Optimus Slider is heading to Virgin Mobile or at least that’s what the leaked screenshot from Best Buy’s website (pictured above) suggests. Needless to say, upon publishing on few websites, that page was promptly pulled from the electronics retailer online store, displaying “page not found” instead.
We don’t have all the details, but we do know the price. Virgin Mobile will ask $199.99 for the device, requiring no contract signing at all. As far as the rumor goes, that money gets you the Optimus One-like device with a side-sliding keyboard making it easier to chat with your e-buddies while on the go. What’s more, the Optimus Slider also comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, 600 or 800 MHz processor, GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot.
We’ll definitely follow where this goes and let you know when Virgin or LG officially announce the new phone. Stay tuned in the meantime…
