U.S. won’t be the only developed country that won’t get Samsung Galaxy Note this year, with Samsung Australia saying that their smartphone-tablet will be launched “by early 2012.” The information comes from PC World, which quoted the company’s spokesperson saying: “Essentially, we do want to bring it to Australia but it won’t be until next year.”
Of course, if you want it badly this year, you could import it from Europe where Sammy’s device is expected to start selling at some point in November. Actually that’s the launch date for the United Kingdom, but it’s safe to bet other EU countries will get “their Notes” in the same period.
As a reminder, the Galaxy Note rocks a huge 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1280×800 pixels resolution, dual-core 1.4GHz processor and digital pen with S Pen technology, while the rest of its specs are on par with the Galaxy S II (HSPA, Wi-Fi, 8MP camera, GPS, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth 3.0 and so on).
