Good news for those of you who grabbed yourself the let’s face it not-that-popular Vizio tablet – it just got a small yet important firmware update. Unfortunately, the new software doesn’t bring Honeycomb on your device, but you do get few handy enhancements, including the Netflix support. Yep that means you will be able to rent and stream movies from the popular service straight to your tablet. In addition, firmware version 1.3 also packs several security updates though we don’t have the specifics.
As usual, all of your key data is backed up and that your battery is fully charged before proceeding. Once that’s on place, check for new software and follow the instructions provided on the screen. Alternatively you can simply restart your Vizio tablet and let it inform you about the new software version. Good luck! 😉
