On the heels of the recently launched Windows Phone application, Pulse is introducing a new capability for its Android and iOS (both the iPhone and iPad) users, allowing them to keep their news sources in the sync across multiple devices. Not sure why Windows Phone app didn’t get this feature, though I guess we won’t have to wait for too long to see that happening, as well.
After updating your Pulse News reader and starting the application, you’ll be asked to sync your sources with the pulse.me service. Earlier, Pulse introduced the ability to add news items to favorites and now that web component of the service is also the place where your news sources are stored, and which can be synced across all devices where you have the Pulse app installed.
Of course, Pulse is banking on the brand new iPhone 4S, saying that those of you who purchase the shiny new smartphone from Apple will keep all of their news sources without any extra work. And in case you don’t like the syncing – there’s an option to disable it from the “Accounts” tab at the pulse.me website…
