Almost missed this… Sprint and Motorola released the update for the PHOTON 4G. Software version 45.3.6.enUS adds sooo much on the table, including Google Talk video chat, proximity sensor bug fix, enhancements of pictures taken in panorama mode, and the introduction of international roaming 3G UMTS hotspot functionality for a single Wi-Fi enabled device. In addition — and this is where it becomes really cool — the new update also brings support for Lapdock 100, you know that Motorola accessory that effectively turns your PHOTON 4G (and few other compatible smartphones) into a laptop computer. Now that’s I’m thinking, the only reason I would grab a Motorola smartphone today is to be able to use Lapdock with it. Really love that thing! 🙂
And before I let you go, I must remind you to backup all your data prior to proceeding. Moreover, you should make sure your battery is fully charged — once that is on place, you’re ready to go. 😉
