A number of European Motorola device owners are still waiting to get software updates for their smartphones and tablets. Luckily some of them will be released shortly, including updates for the Motorola Xoom, Atrix and Milestone 2. Here’s what the company said about it:
Many of you are eagerly awaiting the 2.3 upgrade for Motorola ATRIX and Motorola Milestone 2; as well as 3.2 for Motorola XOOM and we’re pressing ahead to get the new software ready. Due to some additional fixes that needed to be made, we’re now working towards releasing the software for Motorola XOOM at the end of October and for Motorola ATRIX and Milestone 2 in mid-November. We will let you know as soon as we are able to make the software available to you.
That’s all cool except the fact that by that time select Android devices will start getting the Ice Cream Sandwich updates. Now that would make this Panda sad – seeing that while some users are jumping on Android 4.0 others are still waiting for their Gingerbread goodies. Not fair. ;(
