When Google and Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy Nexus they mentioned this bad boy will be available all around the world. We’re happy to inform you that three of the leading British operators announced they will be among the carriers offering the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphone.
The “lucky” three carriers are Vodafone, O2 and Three; meaning we still don’t have T-Mobile and Orange on board, though I guess that could easily change in the coming days and weeks.
Neither Three nor O2 nor Vodafone unveiled their launch dates but I guess it’s fair to say the Galaxy Nexus will start selling at some point within a month or so. After all, none of them wants to miss the upcoming Christmas shopping season when folks will go nuts to buy new things, smartphones included.
There you have it… We’ll keep watching and let you know when we spot some other operator jumping on board. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
