I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: The more developers use Epic Games’ Unreal Engine for mobile platforms, the better off we’re all going to be as the engine has been flawless in delivering some amazing visuals. Nexon Mobile has announced they’ll be using the Unreal Engine for its upcoming FPS, Combat Arms: Zombies.
Combat Arms: Zombies for iOS is based on the Fireteam Mode that can be found in its free-to-play PC title, Combat Arms. The game brings the gameplay mechanics of the original Combat Arms and throws in diverse attack patterns, a variety of weapons systems, and promises to set a new standard for graphics and quality gameplay on mobile devices.
A teaser trailer was also released, but as usual for teasers, it looks to contain no gameplay footage. Aside from that, I’m curious to know if the graphics in the trailer are from the game’s in-game engine. Because if it is, then we could be in for a real graphical treat when Combat Arms: Zombies is released next month.
