What’s this? A second Android tablet giveaway a day after we announced we’ll be giving away a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? That’s just how we roll here at IntoMobile. You want awesome giveaways, so we deliver.
Today, NVIDIA was kind enough to give us a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, a Jawbone Jambox and a $25 gift card to give away to celebrate the launch of the Android version of the Tegra Zone-featured ShadowGun by Mad Finger Games.
If you’re a fan of the Samsung Galaxy Tab family, but want something larger than the 7-inch Tab and smaller than the 10.1-inch Tab, then the Galaxy Tab 8.9 was built for your obsessively accurate taste. Even though the Tab 8.9 is the thinnest tablet we’ve seen yet, it doesn’t sacrifice performance as the Tegra 2 chip can certainly keep up with all of the things you’ll be doing with this Tab, like playing ShadowGun.
If you’ve seen our gameplay footage of ShadowGun running on the Tab 10.1, you’ll see NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chip has brought console-quality graphics to mobile devices. In my personal opinion, I think the Android version performed and looked much better than the iOS version. I can’t wait until Kal-El tabs start hitting the market as Mad Finger Games will release a Kal-El optimized version of ShadowGun. The game is now available on the Android Market for $4.99.
Enough talk. Let’s get down to the giveaway business. Here’s what you’ll need to do in order to qualify for an entry:

- Follow NVIDIA on Twitter and “Like” them on Facebook
- Seeing as Halloween is right around the corner, show us your pumpkin carving skills by carving something Mad Finger Games or NVIDIA related. Here are some suggestions: The ShadowGun logo, Mad Finger Games’ logo, NVIDIA logo, etc.
- Take a picture of your work of art with this giveaway article displayed on your laptop, tablet, or mobile device somewhere near it as well as the time/date you took the picture.
- Submit your entry to the following email address: daniel@intomobile.com with the subject “I’ve got your pumpkin right here!”
We’ll be accepting entries from the time this giveaway is posted until 11:59pm PT on November 2nd. We’ll be choosing one winner who followed all four steps listed above on November 3rd. We’ll also be sharing your creations on our Twitter & Facebook feed to show the world your talent, so make sure you do your best!

- You must be a current U.S. resident and we will only ship out prizes to an address located in one of the 50 United States.
