Namco Bandai’s Puzzle Quest 2 for iOS should be a game you’re all familiar with right now, especially after my glowing review of the game that was published almost a year ago. Now Android users finally have their chance to play this amazing match-3 RPG game as Namco Bandai has released Puzzle Quest 2 on the Android Market.

Namco Bandai decided to take a different approach with Puzzle Quest 2 on Android by offering the game as a freemium title. Players will be able to access approximately 30 minutes of content. Once the free ride is over, you’ll need to either by one of two unlocks: the “All classes unlock” is $4.99 and gives you access to all of the heroes, or if you prefer to play as a specific hero only, you’ll need to pay $1.99 to unlock each class individually.

There isn’t a list of devices that Puzzle Quest 2 supports, but its Android Market page says the game supports devices 800×480, 854×480, 960×540, 1024×600 and 1280×800 screen resolutions. You’ll also need an SD card with 270mb of free space.

If you’re a fan of match-3 puzzle games like Bejeweled, but want a deeper RPG experience, then you can’t go wrong with Puzzle Quest 2. Touchscreen phones and tablets were made for games like these, so you owe it to yourself as an Android gamer to grab this game.
