It looks like pics of LG’s next Android device has surfaced. An anonymous tipster calls this mysterious handset the LG Prada P940, which may very well be the K2 — a device that first appeared three months ago in a leaked roadmap. This would be the third version of the LG Prada series, but according to the source, the photo we see isn’t the final design. Specs on the LG Prada P940 a.k.a. Prada K2, includes the following:
- 4.3 inch NOVA display
- Dual-core processor
- 8 megapixel rear-facing camera
- 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
- 21 Mbps HSPA+ support
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
Also, the handset will feature a “Prada-inspired” textured backing and be only 8.8mm thin. It’s a pretty good choice for those who love square phones; I’m not a big fan of them, but to each their own.
Now we still don’t have the slightest of clue as to when this bad boy will release. What we do know is the LG Prada K2 is expected out sometime this quarter, and much like the first two LG Prada models, the KE850 and KF900, it probably won’t set foot in the U.S. LG is the originator when it comes to how smartphones are today with the touchscreen, the original Prada paved the way for the Apples, HTC’s, and Samsung’s of the world.
