Stuart Hughes is on the roll again. After making the world’s most expensive phone, he’s doing the same with tablets. The iPad 2 Gold History Edition has everything the super-rich snob needs – a piece of history, diamonds, platinum and gold.

Here’s what this device “offers”:

Encrusted with 12.5 cts of ‘I’F’ Flawless diamonds, a magnificent total of 53 individually set sparkling gems dwell beautifully in solid 24ct Apple logo with rear section formed again in 24ct gold weighing an immense 2,000 grams.

And that’s just a start. The front frame is made from the oldest rock of the world in the form of the 75-million-years-old Ammolite, sourced from Canada. More on the “history” front, there are sections of a 65 million year old T-REX Dinosaur’s thigh bone that were splintered and then shaved into the Ammolite, only to be finished off with a single cut 8.5ct flawless diamond that is inlaid in its own platinum surround with 12 outer flawless diamonds.

You’ll have to hurry if you want this baby, cause only two of these will be made, each costing… hold your breath… 5 million GBP – that’s $8,000,000! I just hope it’s a 3G-enabled version of the iPad 2, cause that’s not mentioned.
