Well, this didn’t take long. The Android community never seems to fail when it comes to amazing us, it turns out that one wily enthusiast has already developed a root solution for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus once it releases.
The way the “Superboot” program works is once a user installs it, a specialized boot image to the Galaxy Nexus appears, which enables the phone to automatically root at startup. This is really cool because you don’t have to worry about messing around with those annoying paritions to gain full control over your phone. Trust me, as someone who’s been rooting phones for over year, this program makes things way easier.
Seeing that the Galaxy Nexus was announced only a couple of weeks ago, this is an impressive feat. Now, if you’re a Google engineer or a carrier tester it’s time for you to put in some work, so people can have the best experience possible.
Who out there is buying the Samsung Galaxy Nexus? If you are purchasing the phone, will you root it?
