PayPal and its parent company eBay released two infographics to show the world how much business they expect from mobile shoppers this Christmas season. eBay predicts to see nearly $5 billion in mobile gross merchandise volume (GMV), while PayPal expects to see more than $3.5 billion dollars in mobile payment volume, in 2011.
At the moment, there are three items per second sold via eBay on mobile devices and more than $10,000 in payments processed every minute by PayPal. And, as you can guess, those two figures are expected to further grow in the days to come…
