Happy Modern Warfare 3 Eve, everybody! Tonight, either you or someone you know will be lining up at strip-malls all across America for hundreds of midnight release events being held by a number of retailers. Seeing as you or “your friend” will be lining up for a couple of hours, you’re bound to meet some new people who share the same dedication to Call of Duty as you do. And maybe your short time with these people will blossom into an actual friendship, but how would you go about asking for their Gamertag or PSN ID while keeping your bro status in check? If you’ve got Mountain Dew’s DEW Gaming Exchange app, you could exchange information just by fist-bumping your new found bros.

Mountain Dew’s DEW Gaming Exchange app may sound awfully familiar to those of you who use Bump. That’s because the app uses Bump technology, except it’s geared more towards gamers as you can input your Xbox 360, PS3, and PC information in your profile. To share your information, such as your Gamertag, PSN ID, Steam ID, and such important things such as your favorite game, genre, and video game character, all you need to do is bump your device with another bros device and the information is transferred from one device to another. The app also allows you to message on another, which is rather helpful if you need to wrangle all of your bros together for some online Modern Warfare 3 hijinks.

If you’re planning to attend one of tonight’s midnight release events and plan on picking up some random guys to have fun with, then you might want to prepare yourself from the onslaught of bros who you’ll want to play Modern Warfare 3 with tonight by snagging this app.
