Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet combo in China. At its Galaxy Note World Tour held in Shanghai, the company unveiled its super-powerful device that will be sold in the world’s most populous country with few local apps preloaded, including Shangmail, MaiKu Note, Mobile QQ, weibo and more.
Aside from that, the Galaxy Note will remain the same at its core, sporting a huge 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD 1280×800 pixels touchscreen, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, 16GB of built-in storage that is further expandable with microSD cards.
We haven’t heard anything about the price, but I doubt the Galaxy Note will be much more affordable in China than what Samsung is asking in other countries. As such, this big device will be used by the select few who can actually afford it…
