Verizon Wireless will soon introduce a red version of the DROID Incredible 2 smartphone. As far as we understood, the new device will hit the stores on November 24th, just when people will start getting crazy, buying all the things they need and don’t need. I admit that red Incredible 2 looks like a perfect gift for smartphone newbies (and folks who don’t care about the high-end features), whereas those with some experience will go for some other Android device from Verizon’s portfolio – like let’s say the DROID Galaxy Nexus or DROID RAZR.
Needless to say, there are no changes under the hood – it’s the same DROID Incredible 2 with specs that include a single-core 1GHz processor, 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and auto-focus, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and so on. All said, I would expect Verizon to offer the red DROID Incredible 2 for $150 on a two-year contract…
