Despite it’s antiquated name, Cyber Monday is a good time to get some deals on electronics without having to worry about being pepper sprayed. Best Buy has rolled out its Cyber Monday sale and this includes some good deals on tablets and smartphones, including the ability to get the HTC Titan for virtually nothing.
You can pick up the AT&T HTC Titan from Best Buy for free when you sign up for a new, two-year contract with a minimum $15 monthly data plan. While I generally advise people to get the best smartphone they can afford at the beginning of the contract, the Titan is a powerful device that was just released a few weeks ago, so if you wanted to take the plunge, you may as well save some up-front cash.
The HTC Titan has a massive 4.7-inch screen, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, an excellent 8-megapixel camera and all the other features you’d expect from a high-end smartphone. It also runs Windows Phone Mango, which is a visually-pleasing operating system that is just as capable as iOS and Android.
The Best Buy Cyber Monday sale also includes a free Wildfire S on a new contract with T-Mobile. The sale also includes the BlackBerry 9930 for Verizon for $99.99, other BlackBerry smartphones at discounts and mobile accessories.
The pickings are kind of slim on the tablet front, as the Acer Iconia Tablet is on sale for $229.99 but it’s sold out as of the time of publication. There are some neat deals on e-readers and tablet accessories though.
I think the HTC Titan deal is the best I’ve seen this Cyber Monday, so hit the link below to check it out. Are any of you going to buy anything from the Best Buy Cyber Monday sale?
