T-Mobile UK is running a neat campaign called “Appy Christmas,” offering seven free apps worth 20 GBP with all purchases of new Android phones through December 24th. In order to take advantage of the offer, once you buy a phone, you should text XMAS to 480004* to get the link from where you can choose your apps. T-Mobile curates this list, so don’t expect every possible app out there. We see Doodle Jump, Call Of Duty: Black Ops and PDF Scanner on the list, suggesting they’re not just giving away the cheapest apps. The apps must be downloaded before January 31, 2012.
Now I’m not sure whether this offer is good with T-Mobile phone purchases through third-party retailers so you better check with T-Mobile and your phone retailer before pressing the “Buy” button. You can get all the details on how to get the free apps from this page at T-Mobile’s website.
