Sony Ericsson Arc HD (Nozomi) gets caught on camera

Sony Ericsson isn’t the most praised Android manufacturer, but to their credit they do make some pretty stylish devices. Some folks got their hands on photos of the company’s upcoming Sony Ericsson flagship and specs to go with them. In the picture above is a handset dubbed as the Arc HD (Nozomi), or more technically known as the Sony Ericsson LT26i. We actually wrote about leaked photos of the Arc HD a few weeks ago. This device is rumored to carry some decent specs:

  • Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread
  • 4.3-inch LCD display of HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels)
  • 12 megapixel camera with FullHD video recording
  • 1.5GHz Scorpion cores, Adreno 220 GPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage
  • HDMI port for 1080p sharing on your HDTV

The Nozomi is also rumored not to have a microSD card slot, so no expandable memory will be offered. The handset design has simple lines that gives it a neat look which reminds me of Motorola hardware. That said, we have no idea as to when we can expect this device to release, but it’s a good chance we’ll see this at CES in January, or Mobile World Congress in Februrary.
