Every leading mobile platform has its own cloud solution. iOS has iCloud, Android has Google’s range of services, and Windows Phone has Microsoft’s SkyDrive. Unlike its competitors, Microsoft is reaching out to other platforms and releasing a SkyDrive app for iOS as well as Windows Phone.

SkyDrive is the company’s cloud computing solution that lets you store music, photos, documents, and more. The new apps will let you browse folders, share files, delete files and read their OneNote notebooks. Some of this functionality is built into Windows Phone, but it’s all new to iOS owners. The SkyDrive app for iOS is available for free from the iOS App Store. The Windows Phone version will be available soon.
