We’ve given you numerous reasons why you should be excited for NVIDIA’s next wave of Tegra 3 powered Android devices, but if you needed another reason to get all giddy, how about the fact that The Dark Meadow will be releasing on Tegra 3 devices early next year?

The news comes straight from the Video Games Award show that took place this past weekend and Phosphor Games is promising the ‘Deluxe Addition for Android’ version of The Dark Meadow will have enhanced visuals and physics as well as new gameplay features such as new game modes, levels, characters, and story elements. Not only that, but Phosphor Games went ahead and released a new teaser trailer that shows the game running on Android. And boy, it sure does look purty.

We all know that the current champ in the mobile gaming ring is ChAIR Entertainment’s Infinity Blade II, but The Dark Meadow certainly adds a lot more story elements and atmosphere than simply adventuring through a castle looking for some Titans to fight. Seeing as both Infinity Blades are currently exclusive to iOS, The Dark Meadow will give Android gamers a chance to experience some of what makes Infinity Blade such a great game, all while delivering a uniquely terrifying experience.
