Well what do you know – even though the Galaxy Note is still not available all over the globe, Samsung is already working on its successor. At least that’s what we think of the mysterious device marked as GT-N8010, which has recently received a Wi-Fi interoperability certificate (PDF download is here).
So why do we think the GT-N8010 has anything to do with the Galaxy Note? Well, the Note’s model number is GT-N7000 and as far as we know – it was the only newer Samsung device which model number starts with N.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional details except that it’s Wi-Fi ready. If I had to guess, there will be a quad-core processor under the hood, as well as LTE radio in select markets (where LTE is available). Putting an even higher resolution display doesn’t make much sense when you think about it.
We’ll definitely be looking where this goes and let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
