Notice that I’ve used “tablet” instead of “hot” to describe this deal. While this is undoubtedly a good price for the HTC Flyer, I don’t think this is really what I would call a “hot” deal. The reason is simple – HTC’s baby doesn’t have a dual-core processor and I’m not sure it will be able to handle the Ice Cream Sandwich. However, I’m sure some unofficial Android 4.0 port will be released, but I don’t think every Flyer user should try that out. These unofficial ROMs are made for people with some tech knowledge and as far as I know – that’s not Average Joe. And I’m not trying to insult anyone; I’m not sure I would be willing to experiment with my tablet.

Presuming Android Honeycomb (cause the update is rolling out as we speak) is all you need, you can check out this page to get all the details and perhaps buy yourself this 7-inch tablet for 200 GBP (about $310). It’s a WiFi-only version, with 3G-enabled one costing some 50 GBP ($78) more – you can check that model from here
