It’s incredible how high-end smartphones are getting more affordable so quickly. We still think of the Sensation XE as one of the best smartphones HTC has ever made (after Rezound), yet it’s available for next to nothing on an affordable plan.
We have Phones 4U to “blame” for this deal which lists the Beats Audio-powered Android device with a 19.95 GBP price tag with 21.50 GBP/month plan. That money gets you 200 voice minutes, 3,000 texts and decent half a gig of mobile data. In other words, this is the plan that will satisfy most users’ needs.
As a reminder, the HTC Sensation XE rocks a large 4.3-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, dual-core processor, GPS, Bluetooth, 16GB of built-in storage, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. And yes — in case you wonder — it will definitely get the Ice Cream Sandwich update at some point next year.
