The new rumor we’ve got suggests that the next Samsung Galaxy smartphone will be launched in April. From what we’ve heard, it will have a 5-inch full HD screen to compete with similar models offered by other handset makers like HTC, Oppo, ZTE, Huawei and Sony. However, the Korean company’s device may be slightly different than the competing products as it may include the S Pen functionality. BlackBerry N-Series leaked, again

We’ve already seen the first glimpse of the upcoming BlackBerry N-Series phones, which will combine a touchscreen with a Bold-like QWERTY keyboard. Now we have another image to show you, this one looking much better than the previous blurry shot. According to N4BB — and as we’ve heard before — RIM will call this baby BlackBerry X10. We’re still not sure whether only a single such device will be released or Canadian company will have an array of these (it’s a “series” after all). The official launch date is a Read more

LG Optimus G gets “Carbon-Free” certification

LG has managed to get green, Carbon Free certification for a number of its products, including the Optimus G, from the CarbonFund Foundation. The device was found to be environmentally friendly throughout the entire process, from procuring raw materials, production, distribution, use and disposal. We praise LG for taking this route and can only hope other handset makers will follow suit. While we love our gadgets, we love our planet even more. And we advise all our readers to properly dispose their phones after they’re done using them. It’s a Read more

India’s Videocon offers 10.1-inch Jelly Bean tablet for $200

Here’s one of those tablets that could help push the whole category toward the mainstream users. The newly launched VT10 has been launched by India’s Videocon, offering a 10.1-inch tablet that runs Jelly Bean for 11,200 Rupees, the amount that translates into about $205. I would say that’s a rather good deal since this baby can run (practically) the latest version of Android. Specs wise, the VT10 rocks Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, while that IPS screen comes with resolution of 1280×800 Read more

Huawei Ascend Mate shows its face, again

Once again we can see the soon-to-be-launched Huawei Ascend Mate showing its face. This time, however, it’s not being flashed by the company’s CEO, but we don’t mind. Plus we also have one of the upcoming ads to show you which highlights the phablet’s huge screen comparing it to “some other” device that has a 5.5-inch display. Yup, that’s the Samsung Galaxy Note II Huawei is trying to mock. And it has a reason, as its device not only has a bigger screen, but also a full HD one, while Read more
