We’re all looking forward to new hardware when the Consumer Electronics show starts next week, but don’t expect all the big mobile companies to unveil their flagship products. According to an investor note from JP Morgan Chase analyst Alvin Kwok, HTC will withhold its NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core handsets and announce them at MWC in February instead. This statement from the analyst was originally reported by Taiwanese newspaper Commercial Times.
When HTC does unveil its handsets, the manufacturer will likely announce the HTC Edge, a quad-core handset with a 4.7-inch 720p HD S-LCD 2 display, 1GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. HTC may also unveil the HTC Ville, an Android 4.0 phone with a dual-core Snapdragon processor and a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display.
