Vopium updated its Android app as I’m sure every user of the popular VoIP service has already noticed. The reason is simple – the application got a new “streamlined” UI that “improves communications and enhances the user experience” by automatically optimizing itself to match each device’s resolution and screen size. Moreover, the new app also includes a guided tour of Vopium’s analytics of user habits and preferences that help maximize savings on local and international calls. A wizard gathers call-quality feedback and provides the per minute rate BEFORE each call is placed.

In addition, Vopium for Android is now completely integrated with the native contacts and dialer, and it automatically updates the status of contacts, indicating whether a contact’s mobile device is connected to GSM, CDMA or Wi-Fi, making it easy to place free Wi-Fi-to-Wi-Fi calls.

Aside from smartphones, Vopium’s app also works with Android tablets. It is free to download and you can get it from the link below.
