So you like the new Motorola Xoom 2 tablets? I know I like the smaller model, but I would never want another contract just for a tablet. You can get Wi-Fi only versions of the Xoom 2 (XYBOARD) tablets, which [multiple versions] are now available for pre-ordering directly from Motorola.

The 8.2-inch model with 16GB of storage could be yours for $399.99, while the 32GB version is selling for $100 more. The story is pretty similar with the 10.1-inch XYBOARD – the one with 16 gigs is going for $499.99, and the one with 32 gigs has a list price of $599.99. Motorola got them shipping in the week of January 18th, so it’s not like you’ll be waiting forever.

The question now is – which XYBOARD works for you? Or you want something completely different? Perhaps something with a detachable keyboard (Asus Transformer Prime) or maybe the Apple iPad, or the Kindle Fire. It’s your call…

If Motorola tablets are of any interest to you, you can pre-order them from here.
