Accessory maker Benzitech announced new line of waterproof cases for smartphones and tablets, as well as new battery charging cases for the iPhone and iPad at the CES.

The iDry waterproof cases create an airtight seal to protect your gadgets from everything from rainfall to being submerged 30 feet underwater. The great thing is that the cases can float on water, so you can use them at the beach, pool side, or on board a boat. Moreover, these also feature secured waterproof ear buds, armbands and neck straps for using during more strenuous activities. Of course, touchscreen will keep working, so you can do whatever you want with the phone/tablet when it’s in the case.

As for the mentioned battery cases, there are two of those for the iPhone 4/4S and one for the iPad 2. iPhone users can pick between the slim Slider case that comes with a 2200 mAh battery and a LED power state indicator; and the iWrap genuine leather case that features a flip cover, 1450 mAh battery and Smart LED power state indicator.

iPad 2 owners on the other hand can go for the Benzitech 6000 Z Charger case which is said to nearly double the device’s battery life, which also sports a stainless steel stand that allows you to view the iPad up in landscape and portrait modes.

The iDry waterproof cases are available now in black or yellow color schemes, and the Slider is available now in black, white, red and yellow. The iWrap and 6000 Z Charger case will start selling in March 2012.
