When it comes to the mobile game, Toshiba was all about tablets at this year’s CES. As a matter of fact, they showed some models which are still not officially announced (and we’ll deal with them in a separate post).

And while I doubt their Thrive and Excite tablets sell in volumes — no matter how fancy they may seem — the Japanese company must be thinking this is just a start and that sales will come later (this year?).

Aside from tablets, Toshiba also had its laptops and TVs at display, as you’re about to see from our gallery. Enjoy!

The Toshiba gallery at CES was really cool. I really liked the tablet they had displayed and I am looking forward to seeing what they have in the year to come. Another really cool product out that I saw and got to play with since I work for DISH, is the Hopper and Joey receiver. I think it will be the best receiver out there. I was able to check it out at work and I loved the PrimeTime Anytime feature it had to offer. I will get to watch all my shows on the networks that air on prime time and it won’t take away from my 250 hours of HD recording time that is available. I cannot wait to get my hands on this receiver. It will be the perfect receiver for my family. With the receiver, the Toshiba tablet, and so many more companies at the CES, this year looks like it is going to be big for the technology world.
