Need an in-car charger but don’t want to deal with extra wires while driving? Check out the DrivePad, a new charging solution from Mizco International’s DIGIPOWER division. It sports a sliding charge base that allows for perfect alignment between the charge sweet spot of the base station and of the phone. This so called “FlexArm design” enables drivers to position the smartphone exactly where they like it. Moreover, the DrivePad also features a pivoting head to accommodate either portrait or landscape view, flexible grip tabs to securely hold smartphones of any size, as well as a 1A USB port for charging a second device.

When it comes to compatibility, the DIGIPOWER DrivePad complies with the Wireless Power Consortium’s Qi standard, so it can sing along all existing inductive charging receivers.

So what do you say – like it? Don’t like it? In any case, you’ll have to wait for March 2012 when the DrivePad starts shipping.
